L'histoire de notre Cantina

At the heart of our Cantina, a story of passion and collaboration unfolds around wine. Vanessa Carrozzo, our sommelier, perfected her craft at the renowned Cantina Rocca delle Macie. With her extensive training and as a member of the Puglia sommeliers’ association, she has carefully curated our Cantina’s wine list in close collaboration with Ludovico di Noi, the owner of Masseria Valentina.

Both are devoted wine enthusiasts—Ludovico for his deep love of the land and Vanessa for her expertise and dedication to the wines of our region. Together, they share a vision: to highlight not only the renowned grape varieties but also the invaluable local producers who contribute to the rich viticultural heritage of Puglia.

Every wine in our selection has been meticulously tasted and chosen because, for them, taste quality is paramount. But beyond flavors, it is the story of each producer that adds a unique dimension to every bottle. As a sommelier, Vanessa does more than just recommend wines.

She tells the story of each bottle, sharing the winemaker’s journey, the characteristics of the grape varieties, and the traditions that shape their creation. Every tasting becomes an immersive experience, allowing visitors to understand and appreciate wine from a new perspective.

The idea is to create a genuine connection between renowned wine estates and local artisans, fostering a synergy of mutual support and passion.

Our Cantina is not just a simple tasting space; it is the fruit of a deep-rooted passion for wine, nurtured by its founder, who, years ago, cultivated vines in the garden of the Masseria. Today, even our suites bear the names of iconic grape varieties, paying homage to this viticultural heritage.

We invite you to share this love of wine with us, whether you are a novice or a connoisseur. In our Cantina, every sip is an invitation to explore the terroir of Puglia and uncover the hidden stories behind each bottle, all guided by Vanessa’s passion and expertise.
